THE PORTUGUESE ASSOCIATION OF LICENSED NATIONAL GUIDES AND TOUR MANAGERS was founded to protect their lawful rights and promote their professional skills and interests.

The National Guides have gone through, and successfully finished, three years of specific academic studies and training and are capable of delivering their services anywhere in Portugal, in different languages and meeting the highest quality standards. Their deep knowledge of the country's history, geography, art, culture, people, traditions, economics, politics, etc., and their ability to guide and interact with those who visit Portugal, are their best assets and a guarantee of successful business for the tour operators and other organizations who contract their services.

Likewise, the Tour Managers, also specifically prepared and trained in a similar way, are capable of accepting the responsibility of leading groups of tourists travelling through different countries and, through their professional services, turn this experience further rewarding and unforgettable.

Our Association is at the entire disposal of foreign Tour Operators and other organizations, seeking competent, professional services for their clients, to provide them with lists of National Guides and/or Tour Managers to meet their requirements (spoken languages, specific profile, knowledge or interests, etc.) and assist them with the tuning up, if necessary.
